The Bullitt combines the classic vintage look with a modern look that spans many motorcycle categories. The constriction of a typical full-face helmet is offset by the large eye cutout, although as a full-face helmet it offers the comprehensive facial protection of such a helmet. Steel mesh vents on the forehead, as seen in the "snapshots" of such helmets from the 1970s, are actually functional air intakes that direct cool air over the rider's head and out the narrow slot at the rear. The low-profile carbon fiber composite shell and genuine leather liner combined with the seemingly endless visor options make this helmet a wearable, protective work of art: a true Bell original helmet, a modern classic.
