The Bullitt combines the classic vintage look with a modern look, transcending many categories of motorcycles. The constriction of a typical full-face helmet is eliminated by the large eye cutout, although as a full-face helmet it offers the comprehensive face protection of such a helmet. Steel mesh openings on the forehead, as one would have found from the "snapshots" of such helmets from the 1970s, are actually functional air intakes that allow cool air to pass over the rider's head and exit from the narrow slot in the back. The low-profile carbon composite shell and genuine leather interior lining, combined with the seemingly endless visor options, round out this helmet as a wearable, protective work of art: a true Bell original helmet, a modern classic.
